Gianluca Corona

Gianluca Corona was born in Milan in 1969.

In 1991 he graduated from  the local  Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera.

From ‘94 to ’96 he refined his talents, working in the studio of Mario Donizetti in Bergamo.

He then started his professional career, distinguishing himself on the artistic scene as an exponent of the young Italian figurative art movement.

His expressive research is based on a reinterpretation of the traditional genres of still life and portrait through a monumental and sensuous representation of shapes.

Special attention is devoted to using traditional materials and techniques.

He has held several exhibitions in Italy and abroad and his works are present in public and private collections.

He lives and works in Milan.
