FABIO CALVETTI
FABIO CALVETTI - Italian Artist Painter
FABIO CALVETTI
Fabio Calvetti was seeking, via his painting, a new visual language capable of bright movements.”.

Biography :

Was born in 1956 in Certaldo (Italy). He graduated in a School of Arts and then, in the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence, painting department.

His activity abroad is intense, being based on exhibitions in the USA, in Germany, Spain, Belgium and, above all in Japan and France.
In 1995, he held a painting stage at "L'Ecole des Beaux-Arts" of Le Port in the Isle of La Réunion. He has participated to many international art shows and fairs, and he has been awarded many prizes.

About the artist :

(...) Painting is the awareness of a man with all his phantoms and his fireworks.
A heart that loves all it sees, caresses what crowds its story, looks, questions, listens, keeps silent and screams.
This has been, so far and still is, Fabio Calvetti's painting. It tells things, names them while awareness widens its shape according to the heartbeat. It does not describe what lives around us, female figures, chairs, sofas, but rather expresses the scent which conscience listens to with the beat of the look, changing its balance arbitrarily.
This scent gives the artist the freedom of seeing things to be told to future listeners with the colours and proportions which his conscience projects on the canvas'imaginary screen. It is as if Fabio Calvetti was seeking, via his painting, a new visual language capable of bright movements.

"Painting : Ineffable hope", Carline Benincasa
